eFLOW Smart for Unstructured Applications

Your organization is continuously overloaded with immense amounts of information arriving in different formats from a myriad of sources. The majority of business documents are arbitrarily structured and, as so, cannot be processed using conventional ICR/OCR-friendly document processing approaches.

Using more than 10,000 parameters of graphical and physical patterns, in highly complex artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms, we developed Smart, eFLOW's module for unstructured incoming information. As so, Smart acts as a gateway for information entering the organization, performing generic automatic classification for document sorting and routing.  

Smart transforms all incoming data, whether in paper-based scanned documents or digital-based formats, into electronic images. This includes semi-structured documents, such as invoices, purchase orders, or unstructured correspondence, such as letters, contracts, memos, etc., including handwritten information. In addition, Smart then delivers those images to the right addressee in the organization, based on key words and rules applied to content.

The document classification is done automatically according to the textual information extracted from the document. Smart can handle any kind of incoming information, both handwritten and printed.

Smart is based on supervised learning. This means the system automatically analyzes the incoming information and defines common denominators according to which the documents are separated into classes and delivered to a specific targets within the organization. No human intervention or coding is required.

Supervised learning also ensures the maximum flexibility of the system. Adding a new class, ( a new category of documents that needs to be delivered to a specific target within the organization) is easily and automatically done, without changing the definitions that already exist in the system.

As opposed to other technologies available in the market, which require time consuming, tedious manual set-up processes, Smart offers a fully automated, easy to use, one-time set-up process.
